We’re getting ready to celebrate Chinese New Year in February 2021 as we enter the Year of the Ox. With Edinburgh Tourism Action Group we are helping again to co-ordinate a city-wide programme of celebrations. This year with the restrictions imposed by the Covid19 pandemic it will look a little different with much being online or virtual, so we are extending the programme over a longer period to support business and tourism recovery once the restrictions ease. The Principal & Vice-Chancellor of Heriot-Watt University has also filmed a CNY message which you can find further down this page.
