We have specially commissioned Professor Gang Wang, the Director from the Art School at our partner institution Tianjin University of Finance & Economics to create three beautiful bookmarks for us to celebrate Chinese New Year which you can download for free. All you need to do is click on the links and print of one or all three of the bookmarks (in PDF format) to use at home.

The first painting is based on the Legend of Europa, a figure from Greek mythology who later gave her name to the continent of Europe. In one popular version of her story Europa was a Phoenician princess who was abducted by Zeus and whisked off to Crete. The second one is a fun painting about a shepherd boy (playing the flute sitting on his Ox ); the last one is a type of ornament painting, called Auspicious Ox ornament painting. Ornament paintings are similar to the function of a nice vase or some exquisite ornaments we might put on display in the home.
