This project is led by passionate female graduates and lecturers from the film curation courses at Glasgow and Edinburgh universities. As the new semester starts, we invite you to explore Xi Xiang Ji on the only existing 35 mm prints kept by BFI + live music score (open talk by Dr Xuelei Huang from Edinburgh), A Song Sung Blue (intro + reception), M. butterfly, Fly Me to the Moon (recorded intro by Dir. Sasha Chuk), Yangzi’s Confusion (introduction by Dr Lisha Xu from Edinburgh ), and many new Chinese shorts through different cultural experiences. This is a wonderful opportunity to connect with Scotland’s vibrant community creative professionals, festival organisers, film curators, filmmakers, artists, and film experts.
